Being an NQ and word vom: not always terrible, as it turns out

On Friday, I attended the Law Society Admissions Ceremony and got to celebrate (finally!) being admitted as a Solicitor.

Robert Bourns (former president of the Law Society) kindly took the time to briefly converse with each and every newly-admitted Solicitor before they walked off the stage. As I stood in line, waiting for my turn, I remember thinking to myself “don’t tell him you’ve decided to take a break from your legal career, because that’s probably frowned upon”. So I hyped myself up to come up with my best scripted…
